WHY ONLY 11 MINUTES: SAFE CITIES | SAFE STATES?
According to the most recent National Intimate Partner Violence and Sexual Violence Survey, the prevalence of contact sexual violence, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner is alarming. It is as high as 61.8% for women and 59.5% for men across states. We are faced with a crisis, where every 11 minutes, a woman or girl is killed by an intimate partner or family member. In response to this urgent situation, Saving Promise has launched Only 11 Minutes: Safe Cities | Safe States.
