Stacy Mackler

Stacy Mackler is an innovator in communications, marketing, and PR as is evidenced by her nearly 20 years of experience in the field. She graduated from Syracuse University in 1995 with a B.S. in Psychology and began her career as a Publicity Assistant at Warner/Reprise Records, then moved on to act as a Communications Coordinator at Ernst and Young.

Over the next five years Stacy provided public relations counseling and developed strategic public relations campaigns for brands such as Giorgio Armani, USA Networks, ELLE, and AOL Time Warner while holding the positions of Public Relations Consultant, and Group Supervisor of the Consumer Lifestyle Marketing Group at PR21, a Daniel J. Edelman Company. In 2003, Stacy transitioned to Vice President and Senior Vice President Positions at DiMassimo Brand Advertising, Lippe Taylor Public Relations, Manning Selvage & Lee, and Clinique. At DiMassimo Brand Advertising she developed the company’s public relations infrastructure and exceeded the six month goal of $500K of business ($800K).

While Senior Vice President at Lippe Taylor Public Relations, she developed, implemented and managed public relations campaigns for fashion and beauty companies such as N.V. Perricone, L'Oreal Designer Fragrances, and Elizabeth Arden. During her time at Manning Selvage &Lee, Stacy developed the beauty and fashion specialty within the Global Consumer Marketing Groups which included Cartier, Stuart Weitzman, Gap, Keri Lotion, and P&G Beauty. From 2007-2008, as Vice President of Global Communications at Clinique, Stacy established Clinique as the authority in skin care to 18-24 year olds, and  restructured the global communications department to maximize opportunities, provide a system of accountability, and encourage strategic thinking.

From 2008-2011, Stacy held positions as a Consultant for Branded Entertainment/Alliances at Food Network, Strategic Planner for Corporate Marketing at Meredith Corporation, and Chief Strategy Officer of Public Relations and Integrated Marketing at Euro RSCG Worldwide Public Relations. In these positions Stacy created content and established partners and talent for the launch of Chef’s Index, developed corporate beauty strategy by leveraging core assets to identify key partners to enhance credibility and enhance visibility for Meredith Corporation, and systematically improved internal creative product and tactical deliverables, respectively. In her position as Strategic Advisor of Public Relations and Integrated Marketing at SM Global Group Inc. from 2011-2012, Stacy developed digital media strategy and corporate positioning for Tracie Martyn Beauty, created strategic platforms and global new business presentations for Merz Aesthetics, StriVectin, and Balducci’s, and positioned and reinvigorated Stanley Black & Decker Health Systems, creating brand architecture and communications strategy.

Currently, Stacy is the Vice President of Communications and PR at Lancôme, which she has held since 2012. Stacy is responsible for creating and implementing the strategic vision of Lancôme’s image, public relations, media relations and communication for the brand.  She works closely with cross functional teams to deliver the intended business plan.
