Pramukh Jeyathilak

Pramukh Jeyathilak is a global Human Resources professional with broad based generalist experience in multi-national companies, with strong focus on innovation, service delivery and people leadership for over 23+ years.   He has proven experience in driving critical HR initiatives that support and further business goals and demonstrated success in large scale organization design and development, change management and leadership excellence initiatives.  Pramukh has extensive experience in Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia and North America, having lived and worked in Bombay (India), Prague (Czech Republic), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Singapore and Seattle (USA).

Pramukh is currently the Global Human Resources Lead for Amazon, based at Amazon’s headquarters in Seattle, WA.  He is the strategic HR business partner for the Legal, Public Policy and HR teams, which encompasses supporting key business leaders, leading the on-going evolution of the business and providing strategic people and organisational insights. Pramukh is also responsible for providing thought leadership and change management capability to guide the evolution of this fast paced organization.

Prior to this role, Pramukh was the WW HR Director for Microsoft’s Advertising and Online Business, based in Redmond, WA. Earlier to this, he was the HR Lead for Microsoft’s Consumer & Online business in Greater Asia Pacific, out of Singapore and prior to this, the Human Resources Directorfor Microsoft’s Sales, Marketing & Services Group for the Middle East, based in Dubai.

Before joining Microsoft, Pramukh worked in Accenture as the EMEA Emerging Markets Business Group HR Lead, based in Prague, Czech Republic and earlier the Country HR Manager for Accenture in India.

Pramukh earned his Master's Degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the University of Madras, India and is a regular speaker in HR forums and conference sand also an active mentor and coach.  He lives in Sammamish, WA with his wife and two teenage sons.
